Their last show at the Hammerstein was great despite them playing songs off my least favorite albums. With their video setup, I doubt Terminal 5 will fit them.

nyc????

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2008 11:56 AM

Fuck NYC.

last time at hammerstein the nyc crowd was completly dead like i've never seen a nyc crowd
before. their show 6 months earlier in miami was a party, crowd was amazing and it effected the band. Kraftwerk need the young Justice crowd from last night to show up.

And Daft Punk would be nothing without Kayne West, therefore Kraftwerk would be nothing without Kanye.

I skipped my junior prom in 98 to see them in NYC ... totally worth it!!!!

they left the music non stop sample looping at the end and it never stopped ... i kept hoping they were coming back on but they cleared us all out while the sample kept looping HAHAHA

Kraftwerk started the in 1970, I can easily see how they were influenced by such visionaries as Daft Punk and Kanye West. I know, lets see where they are after 38 years!

Posted by GD | May 20, 2008 12:10 AM

how can kraftwerk be influcened by a band that were still in its fathers ball bag when kraftwerk were punching out top tunes and way ahead of themselves.
so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Posted by Lovejoy | July 17, 2008 1:04 PM

Kanyes west is the shitest of shit he would be nothing without daft punk, daft punk rule as do kraftwerk and there should be no kanye in that equation

It's funny to read this. I discovered Kraftwerk and Daft Punk at the same time back in '96. I didn't really keep up with Daft Punk after "Discovery" came out.

It's pretty obvious that most of today's music, good or bad, wouldn't be around if it weren't for the following:

Soul/R&B music (Motown baby!)
Elvis (shit)
The Beatles (even shittier)
Black Sabbath (the real stuff)
Kraftwerk (ultimate)

And I would say that from the late 70's onward, it's basically been Kraftwerk, Sabbath and R&B music. All of that singer/songwriter/acoustic guitar/piano shit makes me want to puke.
