Yeah BV my man ya fucked up on the Tom Waits news. He is 100% touring this summer but the dates have just not been announced yet. Very shortly they are coming.
As for Leonard Cohen these are only a partial list of dates. He is going to be announcing tour dates of the United States soon. They are going to be in May as far as I know.

embarrassing -- sorry!

Someone sent me the news. In my SXSW rushing, I stupidly didn't notice that it wasn't actually current. I think P4K's RSS feed sending out old pages as new ones may be also related to the confusion.

sorry! updated.

Waits is touring? This is the best news I have heard since Tom did his mini tour on Mule Variations. I've kicked myself for not attending and I won't make that mistake again.
I thank the lucky stars that I will be in Montreal during the Cohen tour.
Any idea on how to get tickets for Canadian shows? ticketmaster?

Waits and Cohen are both touring the United States this year. Patience kids patience. Good things come to those who wait.

In BV's defense, when I first heard that Waits was touring last week, I did a search and came up with the same result. The Pitchfork story was labeled as new. Then I realized those were the old dates because I flew down to Nashville for one of them.

Leonard will share the Glastonbury Festival bill with fellow geezer Neil Diamond.Even though Neil is not a rock n roll hall of fame inductee after 45 years of hits,I would bet that 'Brother Love' Neil and his signature epiphone guitar and 9 piece band will rock more then folk-rock legend Cohen.

It's amazing how much that RNR hall of fame photo looks to the I'm Your Man album photo.

Anyone hear Howard Stern raggin' on Cohen this am? Pretty funny stuff. The audio of Lou Reed's introduction did sound mind-numbingly boring.

You can catch Cohen's acceptance speech on VHI Classics (they're re-showing the broadcast form last night). He said a few words recited Tower of Song.

leonard cohen is the coolest jewish zen buddhist beatnik canadian folkie in the world.
