Whoa that was kinda weird. I guess you were late to the party BV. Why would anyone buy presale tickets for NYC when the regular sale is on. The only difference i can see is that the presale is only will call while the regular sale you can have them mailed or printed out.

So that $4 slice I got in the east village would've only been like $1.60 back home....damn, I knew something was fishy with the exchange rate.

Is Lou doing Berlin in Philly?
Posted by Mike | March 22, 2008 9:58 PM
No, this tour is NOT the Berlin show, but STEVE HUNTER will be lead guitarist! Can't you hear that Sweet Jane intro already?!?!?!

Actually GG, I do not think Steve Hunter is on tour with him anymore. I think he was playing with him at the last highline show because they had just done Berlin. I believe this tour is back to his usual tour mates Mike Rathke, Fernando Saunders and Tony Thunder Smith.

Oh and Jane Scarpantoni also.

No, you are incorrect. Hunter WILL be on the tour. From his blog on MySpace: "I will have the great pleasure of doing some East Coast shows with my ol' bud Lou Reed this coming spring. These will be non-"Berlin" shows. That will take place in mid April/early May. And then in mid-summer, we will be doing some Berlin shows in Europe again....from mid June to late July. As soon as I have final confirmation of the dates, I will post them here. I am well looking forward to that and hope to see a lot of you out on the road!"

great show last night... Zorn joined them for nearly the entirety of the show, and was a great addition.
didn't get Pale Blue Eyes in the encore, unfortunately. Encore was Satellite of Love/Walk on the Wild Side.

I have been searching and searching on-line for the set that Lou Reed played at Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN on 5/3/08. That night was a really memorable night for me and If anybody could post the set list for me or e-mail it to me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
