There's a lot of goofy white people in that photo.

I personally like the fact that the guy to the left of MIA is trying to take a picture of himself.

so there will be shows at McCarren Pool this summer?
Posted by lester | March 27, 2008 9:43 AM
Who are all those dorks?

"so there will be shows at McCarren Pool this summer?"
welcome to the program

"$37.50 + ticketmaster charges for the McCarren Pool ticket. criminal."
Don't buy them from Ticketmaster. Easy. $37.50 is not bad, outdoor shows such as Central Park shows are rarely cheaper.

Anon 10:25: why are you defending the $37.50 tickets? Ticketmaster fees or not, that's ridiculous for an outdoor show at the pool.

"Ticketmaster fees or not, that's ridiculous for an outdoor show at the pool."
complain to the artist.

$37.50 is not much nowadays. If it prevents whiny people like you from coming, I'm all for it. I'm sure Todd P has a $5 for you.

I love the british guy taking a photo of himself next to M.I.A.

m.i.a is popular hence people hate on her. it's dumb....i wonder how many of the people who complain about the ticket prices buy her actual albums instead of downloading them.

what about the may 6 atlanta one?

Last time I saw M.I.A. at an outdoor concert, it was for free (and that wasn't too long ago, was it?). I've bought her albums and some of her singles, and I'm one of her biggest and (literally) oldest fans. But I'm still hoping she'll do another free or low-priced event to, you know, pull up the people... Especially with this recession going on.
P.S. Though I love her music and shows... Doesn't mean I have to love everything she does. And those who complain about her as a person all the time should try to come up with something intelligent to say about her music and shows.

"There's a lot of goofy white people in that photo."
sooo, because the people are "white", they are dorky. because M.I.A. is not white, she's not dorky?

I said "goofy" white people, not "dorky." (Anon 9:14)
