Sadly, NIN has sucked since 'Pretty Hate Machine,' which wasn't all that terrific to begin with. It doesn't matter much what kind of doggerel verbiage comes out of his mouth about Radiohead, doesn't change the fact that his brand of industrial darkness is tacky.

chk out the perez hilton comments...they're hysterical.

Pretty Hate Machine is pap -- the rest of his output is art -- maybe you need a Q-tip for some cleaning.

in the people's republic of north amerika, 'perez hilton' will be a pooper scooper - picking up after all the stray dogs in a particular urban sector (as yet undetermined).
as company and co-workers, he will have the BORING nobodies he 'blogs' about.
trent reznor is not fit to scrape the gum off the bottom of any radiohead member's shoes.
'pretty hate machine?' pretty jealous no-talent hack.

It's not about if NIN sucks as a band, it's about the distribution of a his music. And I think his comments are spot-on.

This "feud" and how it's actually being blown up to be much more than it really is by the music media is fucking retarded.

What a useless post/entry..
Seriously Radiohead don't give a shit and niether does the rest of the world.Just let Trent run his mouth, it's what he does best.

shut the fucking fuck up. trent is acting like a little fuckin bitch. just like he did after he released saul williams' horrible record and had the nerve to compare the results to in rainbows.
the problem is...he hasn't had the inertia in his career to do what RH did since downward spiral came out...and he was happily raking in the dough now. i mean...the dudes made a career out of writing poems about feeling bad about himself...so now he just has something else to complain about.
thanks for the free record. if id paid for that piece of shit idve shot myself in the face

3:49- your a fucking little pussy bitch.

trent's quote sounds pretty dick out of context, but if you actually read the article and what he's saying about the MP3 quality, it makes sense.

Who gives a rat's ass? Let's here a mashup of them both!

It is funny how many of the posts that call Reznor a whiner in his music sort of admit that radiohead are not about anything anymore but Thom mumbling love songs to his wife and kids.Mumbling
is cooler then actual clear expression that you either relate to and it touches you in some level or it does not.Year Zero has such songs. The Fragile has such songs. The Downward Spiral has such songs. They are not background music for hipsters that are about style over substance.Which Radiohead's last three album by in large was.

What is the hard on for Pretty Hate Machine? It is like bringing up Radiohead's first album-Pablo Honey.
Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2008 5:40 PM
I am 100% sure radiohead couldn't give 2 shits what Trent Reznor thinks about them.
Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2008 6:07 PM
trent, you fucking stupid goth, go light a black candle and take care of your Rain Man haircut, you self-absorbed fuck. And stop trying to stir up shit and hype for yourself.

LULZ @ Radiohead sycophants. Trent's kind of a cunt in a lot of the press he does, but in this he's just calling it like it is. It might have been insincere, but at the end day, business is business no matter how much one tries to suppress that. It doesn't surprise me that Radiohead released it with the quality that they did, but I'm not going to slight them for it. And if Trent is a whiney goth in hangover mode, Thom's a fucking un-humorous bumbling fuck whose "commentaries" about the dystopian 21st century are pretty boring and ham-fisted. OOOH, LOOK, HE MENTIONED ANIMAL FARM.
Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2008 7:56 PM
agreed. thom is also about as radical as archie fucking bunker at this point. yes, thom, we've read PNAC and chomsky and...

I liked the Biggie/2Pac beef better then these lame alternative beefs.
The only way to end this beef is for Thom to join NIN on "The Good Soldier" or something on Lollapalooza.Trent:Dude,OK Computer was an awesome album.Thom:No dude,The Fragile was bloody
good. But With Teeth was a wanker.Trent:Were you awake when you recorded "Amnesiac".Fight.
