The first Swervedriver album, All Swerved Up is classic. After that they became total nazi National Front crap.

I'm going to assume that you are hipster-bored, and don't know anything about Swervedriver and more than you should about Nazism.

Swervedriver is not to be confused with the nazi band SCREWDRIVER

Swervedriver is a band from the shoegazer era of music. You are mixed up and are thinking of a different band. I had no idea what you were talking about until I looked up screwdriver.

I believe Anon12:17 is well aware of both bands and was trying his or her best to be funny.

yes, but readers might not know about the other band and can then get a negative impresson of swervedriver.

Back in January 1992, I saw Swervedriver and Poster Children at CBs. Towards the end of Swervedriver's set, some Nazi skins showed up and started being complete knuckleheads. I suspect that they thought Skrewdriver was playing that night and were upset when they found Swervedriver on stage.
Oh, those poor, tiny minded skinheads.

OMG yes. Been waiting for this forever. Will be at the Boston show. Only saw them in 1997 at TT's. It was a July night and about 100 degrees. Could only stay four songs before the heat drove us out.
Let's hear all the 1991-93 classics and enjoy $3.75 UFOs at the Paradise, eh?

The person name anonymous ("The first Swervedriver album, All Swerved Up is classic. After that they became total nazi National Front crap.") needs to go back to school or learned how to make a proper search on the Net since Swervedriver IS NOT SKREWDRIVER which is a neo nazi band!
