Fuck this band. Undeserved diva attitudes from a shitty band. They have made every sound engineer in this city know them by bitching about everything and then still sounding like shit.

their whole schtick is DEAD, it was played out the moment it fucking started. i can't believe Dave Sitek is actually producing this fucking shit.

What whole shtick though? The EP they did a couple of years ago sounds totally different to their more recent singles, and that song off the Living Bridge comp is different again.. who's to say they won't keep changing it up.

Yeah. It doesn't sound like they're "un-learning" any sort of musical training here. Sounds like they don't know how to play instruments. It's really crappy. Still, I see how it could grow into something you're all gonna claim you discovered in the way back. "Yeah. I knew these guys even when they sucked."

....OR it's an experiment in women-as-novelty in music. like, "anything with tits is bound to succeed much quicker, being the closely watched minority in the biz." Jokes on us, guys!

They're probably all like, "dude! I could stand on stage, make mean faces and yell at the sound man, loop in a garage band bass loop, and STILL be famous!"

the show tonight sucked. no talent whatsoever...

they do have some talent, the vocal parts over the beats are really infectious. The beats themselves are pretty solid. They have some inexplicable soul.

but about half the time they blow it on their live shows. I don't know if they're under-practiced or what the fuck, but if the PA's not exactly the way they think it should be (or if they get nervous and just think it isn't), then they bomb.

Maybe it's stage fright.

They were INSANELY awful opening for the Kills last night. I was actually angry at having to sit (well stand actually) through it.

they suck & the girls are ugly. they should take out their inadequacies in another medium.
