any idea what this place fits? i've been wanting to see them for awhile and it doesn't look like there's any advance sale (let alone any other information about this show).
Posted by Anonymous | March 6, 2008 2:44 PM
and oh, my post was about the indelicates.
and it looks like they go on at midnight. it's $5 cover, but no advance sales. i wonder if it'll be full long before.

oh wow gopster i looked at that link. Are either of those girls the same girl pictured above? Doesnt even look closely like either one of them but if it is i must retract my statement of wanting to splash my "pip" all over her face.(now that was a stretch)

Not that i'm not enjoying all the double entendres... but to answer the Indelicate question, Don Hills is probably about the size of Mercury Lounge. I wouldn't really worry about it selling out... don't think they're on a lot of people's radar over here. I wouldn't get there too early, you'll just be bored, no one will be there and you'll resort to drinking too many $8 beers.

You've never had a girlfriend have you? Not a real one.
Posted by Anonymous | March 6, 2008 3:40 PM
^^^He probably never had one with a great set of dick sucking lips like the one above so you can understand his excitement
Posted by Anonymous | March 6, 2008 3:43 PM
the age limit at Maxwell's is 40. Anyone older is not allowed.

Indelicates cancelled, according to their Myspace page.
Posted by Scott | March 6, 2008 9:00 PM
Apparently they're the most recent in a long line of bands having visa problems trying to enter the USA.
Posted by Scott | March 6, 2008 9:01 PM
Jesus. That really sucks. Was looking to seeing their first US show. Hope they make it to SXSW.

We're incredibly sad that the Indelicates are stuck in the U.K. and will miss their gig at Mondo. The band and I have written back and forth and we hope to host a show for them some time after May.
We'll be spinning tracks from the band's forthcoming (and fantastic) album, American Demo, along with our usual array of indie, swedish pop, girl groups and more.
So sorry to fans of the band. We were thrilled to have been hosting the Indelicates. Come by and dance the disillusion away anyway: www.mondo-nyc.com

One more thing; there's a note from Julia Indelicate on our myspace: myspace.com/mondonyc
