T5 strikes again. That's the worst news I heard all day.

People forget that this is not the White Stripes. This is the boring Raconteurs.
Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2008 4:19 PM
Is that a guy or a girl?
Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2008 4:21 PM
YAY T5!
Posted by grace6697 | March 31, 2008 4:28 PM
Boring Raconteurs? As opposed to the ground-breaking White Stripes? Jethro, please.

I thought it was recently determined that Terminal 5 doesn't suck AS BAD as we first thought. The show last night was supposed to be pretty great.

Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2008 4:38 PM

930 club= 1200 people, perfect sound....just take the bus to dc.
Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2008 4:46 PM
Yeah, but what time does Daft Punk... er, I mean the bus back to NYC leave? Probably either before the end of the concert or sometime the next morning.

Terminal 5, no thanks. I would have liked seeing a proper show of them, but I guess I'll only be catching them at Coachella this year, unless they announce another NY show elsewhere in the fall. Grace and other deaf kids, enjoy!

Do people really like Roseland Ballroom(where they played last time) more than Terminal 5? I presonally like T5 way more than the Roseland.
Posted by Anonymous | March 31, 2008 7:10 PM
Roseland Ballroom:
Lousy sound anywhere in the room except right in the pit, terrible sightlines in about 80% of the venue, nasty security, bartenders with huge attitude and lousy service, expensive drinks, terrible crowding at exits. Anything else?
Overall, Roseland might be the worst venue in Manhattan.

40 bucks (pre-fees) a ticket? at Terminal 5? Weren't the Roseland shows 25 bucks? Why such inflation?
Posted by Elwood D. Pennypacker | April 1, 2008 6:31 AM
Why the inflation? Add a new album, increased popularity, and the Black Lips as openers...yeah, I can see it.
Plus it's Jack White, and he can.
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2008 6:59 AM
i'm going for the black lips.

Well here we go again
A big fuck you to Bowery Presents again for putting this band in their totally shit venue and telling the fans to go screw themselves.
Like someone said earlier, looks like a nice evening trip to Wash to see them at the 9:30 club. I can assure you their sound will be totally muddied and eaten up by T5
Also a big fuck you to Web Sherriff. Tell me you did not cowtow to him BV. This guy can do nothing. Guess what fuckhead. The album is all over the net in both mp3 and flac formats. It was their before it was even officially released. You lose again, John.

I'm surprised anyone likes this band.
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2008 9:31 AM
