Good show! Liked the new songs! I don't know how he sings like that all the time. Thats got to hurt the vocal chords...When is the new album coming out anyways? White Rabbit were decent too!

did anyone else notice how fucking awesome the walkmen was on Tuesday? it renewed my faith in a longtime favorite. and for all the haters, they even played the rat or as Ham put it "Mr. Rat".

They wouldn't let me in without checking in my camera because this was a camel sponsored event so I left. I should've just snuck in. Now I'm cranky.

was it full?

Why is he always so angry in the songs?

It looked pretty full but not sold out. I would say 85% full?

I noticed how fucking awesome they were! It was an amazing show, Ham's voice comes off so good live. I took a friend who before that felt pretty neutral about The Walkmen, and she could not stop raving about them after. Loved the opening song, anyone know the name of it? Wish I could snag an mp3 of that...

He is mad because someone had the nerve to ask him for a favor. Also someone had a car outside...he wanted to go for a ride??

the walkmen and the rabbits were excellent as usual, and webster hall was wack as usual. their sound team needs to learn how to balance their goddamn levels.

so whenever webster lists "a very special event" should we just assume that it's a camel sponsored event?
the sounds show, camel sponsored, was also listed as "a very special event" and had branding throughout the venue.

The bands were great, but was anyone else lucky enough to be standing near the two annoying NYU girls that spent the entire White Rabbits set shrieking the lyrics at the top of their lungs?
Thank god they were too young / stupid to realize how awesome the Walkmen are, and scurried out immediately after the Rabbits left the stage.

here are some questions for webster hall-
why were beers $8 !!!! and why was that little bar by the entrance closed! and what the hell was going on in the downstairs room? was anyone able to get a drink at the downstairs bar?

Walkmen are one of the best live bands period. Mad I missed this one.

yes, the walkmen are my favorite live act except for when the hamilton just stums the open strings. i don't think it's tuned to anything. it just adds a bit too much white noise.
