Oh you silly Cursed! Why, oh why, do you have an such a crushing new album (III: Architects Of Troubled Sleep) and yet you spurn us Americans? I mean only Burlington, VT and Niagara Falls, NY? Are we not big enough fans? Did we not read your interviews in Decibel, Chart Attack, and Exclaim? Until we get an answer, look below for some Canadian dates, European dates, and every other goddamn place dates.

Thrash metal legends Testament have posted a new song, “More Than Meets The Eye” from their new album The Formation Of Damnation on their myspace. Make sure and check them out April 6th (tickets are still available) at BB Kings.

Dwid Hellion has announced a new Integrity album, “The Blackest Curse”, for Deathwish Inc this year, accompanied by a DVD film. Head over here for a FREE copy of their landmark album “Those Who Fear Tomorrow“! Integrity will hit the roads of Europe with Converge and Coliseum this summer.

Blacklisted – Canonized & Memory Layne @ Gilman 9/27/07

April Fools Day is a big one for Philly Hardcore Heroes Blacklisted: Their bad ass new album Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God (now streaming over at their myspace) finally sees the light of day and they’ve got a headlining show lined up at the Knitting Factory! They’ve got many other dates too…. starting March 21st in Anaheim, CA and concluding with a 2nd NYC date (June 8th) with Ceremony (who have announced a new LP for 2008, and have a few dates of their own) also at Knitting Factory. Tickets are on sale for both the Ceremony/Blacklisted show (with Life Long Tragedy and Sabretooth Zombie) as well as the headlining show (with Verse, The Carrier, Reclaim The Crown, and Probable Cause). Can’t make it out to either show? Check out a live show from WERS radio in 2006, as well as a Converge live show from 2005 all available for FREE here.

Get this? A new concept album called Jersey Shores. Innnnnteresting. Well, let’s up the ante shall we? Akimbo‘s new concept album Jersey Shores is about how “nature will fuck you up” with the underlying theme being “sharks, in particular, will totally fuck you up.” Um, sold. More details on Akimbo’s shark danger-tastic album include that it will be six songs and about 45 minutes, it was recorded during the same sessions as Navigating The Bronze and will be released on Neurot Recordings! Look for it later this year and look for Akimbo touring the Northwest this spring, some dates with denim demons Turbonegro.

Astronaut-metallers and creators of one of my favorite heavy albums of 2007 (The massive Wake/Lift), Rosetta have announced a mini east coast tour with rumblers Giant (who are chippin’ away at a new LP) AND the bellicose boys of Engineer leading up to their two-week tour of Australia. May 26th sees them at Death By Audio in Brooklyn with Tombs… That my friends, is one hell of a bill. Full East Coast and Australia Tour dates below.

Landmine Marathon, Live in Phoenix 2007The utterly ferocious Animosity have are hitting the road come April, including a night at Knitting Factory with Through The Eyes Of The Dead. Tour dates below.

Old School New York thrashers Overkill have announced premiered their video for “Skull & Bones” (with Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God on Vokills, viewable here), and a new tour with the mighty Toxic Holocaust, and promising newbies Warbringer. Tour dates below.

– Cable has reunited and added some shows in anticipation of the re-release of Variable Speed Drive. The boys are also working on new material for a possible future release. Check them out in NYC on June 28th at Ace of Clubs.
– Coliseum‘s previously announced Europa date was part of a greater tour with Victims & Trash Talk. Dates are below, including shows with Tides and Misery Signals.
– Mike Patton has written a soundtrack to a short film, “A Perfect Place”. The CD/DVD (of the film) is available now.
– Behold… The Arctopus has announced some new dates including a few with David Pajo/Lords side-project Dead Child. Tour dates below.
– The “Young Vampires From New Hampshire” (as their new 7″ is called) AKA Transistor Transistor have announced a new album, Ruined Lives (look for it May 15th) as well as a few new dates for the NYC area… June 1 in Brooklyn and June 16th with Trap Them at Knitting Factory. No ticket info available yet, more dates at the bottom.
– The new Coldworker LP, Rotting Paradise will be released on May 13th on Relapse.
