You could have just ended after the first bullet point. Nick Cave's new album is great.

kinda tired of listening to nick cave talk about being limp dicked at 50. and i DAMN sure don't want to hear any songs about it.

As much as I would not mind seeing some of the other bands listed any other time, Nick Cave is the only thing happening in NYC tonight.

Your Nick Cave comments are a helluva lot more annoying than comments about Beth Ditto's weight.

this plug awards thing was horrible but $15 to see nick cave was worth it.
awesome show...though it took a song or two to get started.

plug awards = stupid
nick cave = awesome
it was just really awkward and pointless.

plug what?
who went to the plug awards?
I paid 10 bucks to see a Nick Cave performance. I showed up at 9:30pm, shoved my way up to the front and saw a short but knockout show.
What's this plug awards you speak of?
Oh, Interminable 5 sucks shit. Sound is god awful but what are ya gonna do. Cave is gonna rise above even the shittiest of sound systems.

Nick Cave killed and destroyed.
Terminal 5 good.
I dont know what the fuck yous peoples were talking about for the past whatever months. Sound did not suck in the least. And I could see everything.
Also- nice cool breeze from the open door by the stage kept it cool all night.

^^^An idiot who describes a performer as having killed and destroyed as well as calling people "yous" should never be allowed to be an authority on anythig
Again, Cave was excellent
Sound and Interminable 5 were terrible as usual.

Correction above-anything not anythig for all the typo police out there

I am trying to start a band covering only songs used on "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" with members of the cast. This includes but is not limited to songs by the Magnetic Fields, Polaris, Fat Tulips, Drop Nineteens, and Luscious Jackson. If anyone can lead me in the right direction towards making this dream come true by getting me in touch with anyone who was on the show and still plays music, please contact me at PeteAndPeteBand@gmail.com It will only be like a week or two week long thing with 3 or 4 shows. Thanks.

how long did Nick Cave play?
Posted by Anonymous | March 7, 2008 4:18 AM
cave played nine songs, six from the new album. the bad seeds set was awesome. the rest of the show, like someone said earlier, was "awkward and pointless".

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds...classy and good enough to overcome all of Terminal 5's faults even in his older age and while predominantly doing new material that most of the audience wasn't familiar with yet. Three fucking words for you: 1.) Tupelo 2.) Stagger 3.) Lee! What a living legend!

50 minutes with one encore.
just trying to start a new grammar here, like Jefferson.
and, yeah that was funny.
we did it.

DUDE - NICK CAVE IS AWEFUL. AWEFUL, BORING AND AWEFUL. DONT DRINK THE KOOL-AID.
Posted by Anonymous | March 7, 2008 8:33 AM
The Blogger Pit was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen at a show. Great set from Cave, although a few of the Bad Seeds were missing.

I agree. Drank with friends elsewhere, showed up to the venue late, saw the Bad Seeds, went home.
Great night. Glad I missed all the other BS.
