Yeah, but what's going on in New York?
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2008 2:10 PM
Hey, this great. I'll just swing by TEXAS so I can go see some indie rock shows tonight & tomorrow.
Nothing against SXSW, but why are there SO many advertisements for SXSW events in the NYC market?! And I'm not talking like, weeks ago so people can make arrangements-- I mean advertisements up the butt for TONIGHT'S shows, and TOMORROW'S shows, etc!
Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2008 2:24 PM
A.A. Bondy is great.
So's this post. Your download choices made me laugh.

Because everyone who is anyone in NYC is at SXSW now but they still check their NYC sites. Duh.

Spitzer's Kristen (hmmm, that could be a song parody of "Sister Christian") has a MySpace musician page ( http://www.myspace.com/ninavenetta ) and among her influences is Jack Johnson. In your face, haterz!
Posted by APW | March 13, 2008 1:25 AM
Cool maybe!
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 4:34 AM
Yeah APW but you want to see how full of shit this piece of dirt hooker is then check out her real myspace page. Not the music one that the media is feeding off of with this sad sob story of what she has been through
Check out this
http://www.myspace.com/upinyanightly
This chick is seriously a worthless hooker. Let's not bullshit here. She is as much of a whore as the 20 dollar dick sucker by Hunt's Point Market. Look at her page. She made a shrine to the gov. On her music page she is crying her sob story but on her real page she is having fun and laughing it up at what happened. Thinking it is totally cool and hilarious. Slimey all around.
By the way, would any of you pay 4500 for a night with this chick even if you had the money? I mean cmon now. Yes she has big tits but her face aint that much. I personally have fucked much hotter chicks than her after taking em to a bar and spending a grand total of 50 dollars.

to the putz who is complaining about " too much sxsw information for the nyc market:" at some point in your life you will realize that BrooklynVegan is not just for the New York Market and that it has an international readership. Many many new yorkers are here in austin and need access to this info, and this is where we come for our music info regardless of where we are sitting at the time.
Posted by hipster replacement | March 13, 2008 10:33 AM
How do you have time to search the web from SXSW when there's 4,563 shitty bands playing?
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 10:36 AM
Yes, hipster replacement, Brooklynvegan has a global readership... therefore they all need to know what's happening in Austin, TX.
You douchebag.
I opened my Time Out & Village Voice yesterday to see full-page ads for concerts in TX this week. I think that's retarded is all.
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 10:39 AM
hipster replacement is a hot mess tranny

Posted by burp! | March 13, 2008 11:17 AM
Are there no Austin music sites? No SXSW sites? I don't want to read this info on a NYC site.
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 11:32 AM

I don't want to read about what you want on an NYC site
ps - shut up!
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 11:37 AM
'hipster replacement' is a great handle, though I think the ass kissing for BrooklynVegan is suspect.

Yeah and the Times is always right. Righhhhhhhtttt
Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2008 4:19 PM
Yeah, but I heard elsewhere that the media were besieging what they believe is her apartment building in the Flatiron district.
I trust the Times and the rest of the MSM a lot more than a BV commenter.
