This is actually a perfect booking for Dan Deacon cause a lot of his stuff sounds like he is just banging on a can.

was there for 24 of the 27 hours last year. it was draining. not a very exciting lineup this year though.

jason,
i am pretty sure that statement qualifies you as being a loser with no life no matter what the excuse is.

terry riley is groovy.

I don't think that makes you a loser. Just the opposite.
The person calling you a loser would probably have been very loyal to Hitler had he lived in Germany before World War II, and he (or she) most likely thinks he is alternative because he votes Democrat instead of Republican.

i guess we can now add banging on a can next to the pressing a button on a laptop, to the list of dan deacon's musical abilities.

Dreyblatt's work is impeccable and you're all suckers to the Protestant work ethic.

it's a cool event. last year, the Bang on a Can All Stars played Eno's Music For Airports at midnight while everyone was laying on the floor of the Winter Garden at it was awesome.

The absolute only name on this list that I have any interest in is Marnie Stern, and I have a lot of interest in seeing her play. Weird great inclusion in an otherwise lame list. Not worth the trip for that alone tho...and wait! No metal, avant or otherwise at all? Nevermind.
