town hall is rather small, and they havent really played a show in the city since becoming 'big'.

what sucks though, is that they're still playing pretty much the same show they've been doing since '04, except now in much bigger rooms.

i got lucky, but only got one ticket for tues in a balcony. BOOOOOOOO urns!

tickets went on sale about thirty seconds early. i guess that window made all the difference.

I think they were sold out before they went on sale. I love ticketmaster!

potentially they could add another show on 5/8... they're free that night and town hall is empty...

I would not mind if something really bad happened during both of these shows and completely wiped out both sets of audiences. This would help rid NYC of a bunch of idiots.

Considering the 20+ listings for these shows on eBay already, this is a scalper's dream.

i pulled three in the loge first row for tuesday. it sold out VERY quick and now theres tons of tix on ebay... go figure.

look at this crap! 14 minutes after they went on sale this guy is posting them on craigslist, selling them for $100+ over face value. i emailed him telling him people like him disgust me.

the seats on ebay, are probably the best seats in the house, seats that i am guessing never went on sale to the public.

Even though I agree I rather see Mission of Burma than FOTC, when the Bowery show eventually sells out, you could easily replace "these clowns" with "Mission of Burma" and replace "Mission of Burma" with another, much better musician/band. Therefore your logic does not work. I'm sure many people would think that you have no taste.

don't fret if you didn't get tickets, check ebay and stubhub during the week prior to the show and enjoy the race to the bottom as scalpers cut their prices in hopes of at least getting some money back

also, town hall usually has awesome seats at the box office, the day of the show.

This was complete bullshit. I tried to get tickets even though $35 is ridiculously overpriced. Before 12:01 all tickets other than single seats in the last balcony rows were sold out. Ticketmaster has always and will always suck. Who are these people that made flight of the conchords that famous?

And seriously, people who are buying tickets to a show they don't like to gain a profit thereby fucking other people out of them should die.

i think my sense of what's funny is pretty solid, but i just don't understand what so many people enjoy about these guys.

i never really thought the hbo show was that funny (probably because of my high expectations), but their live show is one of the funniest things i've ever witnessed.

Got mine, row M. this was at 12:00, something must be up!

I got front row orchestra seats for the Tower Theater on Ticketmaster right as they went on sale. I feel like a heel, now that I've seen how difficult getting tickets was for everybody. Woof.

I called the Town Hall Box Office and they said they will NOT be selling tickets for this event at the box office. All sales went through ticketmaster and the show were completely sold out. They said there is no chance of box office sales

And I think the people that work there are frequent commenters here.

I kept clicking refresh leading up to 12pm last Friday and got 4 tickets in Row C center left orchestra. Yayyyy!!
