Gang Gang Dance w/ High Places tonight + SS Seaport too?
Tickets seem to still be available for the Gang Gang Dance show at Southpaw tonight. L Magazine 'band you need to hear' High Places and friend of Animal Collective Kria Brekken are opening.
According to Kria's website, she and Gang Gang Dance are also playing an art opening at the South Street Seaport in a couple of days too.

Yay Hipster party tonight at Southpaw everyone. When you go, take a look around the room and look out all the greasy haired, tight crotch pants, overly made up, but in a not made up kind of way; guys and girls you see.
And when your done looking around the room, just realize how small and isolated your is and how much your hipster music sucks.
-Fifth amendment everyone-....just reminding you, before the insults come pouring in about musical tastes, etc, etc.

""Tickets seem to still be available for the Gang Gang Dance show at Southpaw tonight.""
and that might possibly be because..................................the music is shitty?

Fifth amendment?? I have a hard time seeing what due process has to do with any of this.

I always think that link will take me to band website, but no it takes me to another bv page, sort of disorienting.

Kria Brekkan is about as far from "hipster music" as is humanly possible. Not that that phrase means anything anyway.

when i think hipster music i think crystal castles not gang gang dance, high places, or kria.
not that hipster means much of anything
or that hipster music means anything

I was really not into what Kria was doing at the Black Dice show this weekend.

and so what sort of music do YOU listen to, TV on the Radio Band Breeding Machine?
to be fair, i'll refrain from calling you a little snot before i've had a chance to assess your own tastes in music and fashion. please be detailed and specific so that other forum members can bitch you out too.
as for other haters? please feel free to list your own personal preferences as well, so that we can all see just how much cooler you 'non-hipsters' are, hence learn from your godly awesomeness.
:o)
(i agree with anon 6:06)

"when i think hipster music i think crystal castles not gang gang dance, high places, or kria."
i concur. i think of gang gang dance, high places, and kria as more like "montessori rock".
