i love the Red Hash album to death, but Higgins' show tonight was pretty terrible. His band is outrageously bad (especially the second guitarist, whose soloing was incredibly out of place), and what they have done to the tunes from Red Hash really diminishes the force they have. What, on record, are affecting and slightly disturbed depressing songs become relatively uninteresting rock songs live. His voice still sounds good, but what a let down!

I thought the show was great! I loved the new songs especially. His new rendition of the older songs is creative and added an even greater depth. I can't wait for his new CD.
