Gnarls Barkley playing SNL, Santogold playing Conan & Virgin

Gnarls Barkley are playing Saturday Night Live tonight (April 12, 2008). Santogold is playing Conan O'Brien on April 28th, and then the Virgin Megastore in Union Square the next day. Gnarls Barkley played Highline Ballroom Thursday night. So did Santogold. Various Gnarls & Santo videos below.....

Maybe it was a fluke, but Santogold admitted to lip sync'ing at her SXSW day show for IHeartComix.
She told the crowd, after LES Artistes, that Diplo had accidentally played the album version of her track with vocals.
Makes me tired of this new trend of DJs only using laptops. Have turntables become a prop?
