No doubt Anonymous 1:22 is a douchebag, but that doesn't change the fact that Beth Ditto puts herself out there in an extreme way. Tim Harrington does that too, and people do talk about it.

Nah, it's not that it's a woman, it's that it's Beth Ditto. She is the one who makes a big deal out of her being okay with her weight. That's all fine and good, but I don't care about her weight (or her being comfortable), I just like The Gossip. She opens herself up to this.

I've never heard Tim Harrington say anything about his weight (that wasn't a joke of some sort). He's also not as big as Beth Ditto (though it wouldn't hurt him to start jogging or something I'm sure).

yes its Brooklyn Vegan's fault for making Beth the face of the band when she poses nude for magazine covers and does virtually every interview they've ever conducted. if they were concerned about the focus being on Beth so much, they could've controlled that a long fucking time ago.
