"A working cut of “I Need That Record!” will premier May 3 at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, but the final cut and theatrical/DVD release are still TBA; director Brendan Toller is still clearing archival footage and trying to line up a distributor."

malcolm and kathy of trash american style are some of the most amazing people from my musical youth.
when they first opened thier doors malcolm sold off his personal record collection to get the ball rolling... original 4ad pressings, GG Allen 7inches, earlyearlyearly new order / joy div vinyl, you name it. these are exactly the kind of people we need in this world of clear channel AOR rock. such a shame to see that store close (if only for a while)

Any idea what record stores they went to in Pittsburgh? You can't make a documentary about record stores and not go to Pittsburgh.
