Man Man - tix back on sale, new album out now & streaming

Tickets are back on sale for the Man Man/Yeasayer show at Brooklyn Masonic temple. Man Man's new album Rabbit Habits is out today and Spinner is streaming the whole thing.
Rabbit Habits is as musically jubilant and frenetic as the band's earlier albums, but underneath its trademark cacophony of alleyway accordions, xylophones, and honky-tonk piano is some of the darkest subject matter the band has tackled to date. [Popmatters]An old Man Man video below...

question is now, can i make this show and then make the deerhunter show after?
Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2008 4:42 PM
The answer Anon 4:42 is a resounding yes. The Man Man/Yeasayer show should be over by 10 or 11. Todd's shows start late and with all the bands listed before Atlas Sound and then Deerhunter I would guess they wont go on till around midnight maybe even later

Do they serve alcohol at Masonic Temple?
Posted by jables | April 8, 2008 5:09 PM
^^^^That is a different kind of show totally. Those bands always start go on later. This show will be more like the Sunset Rubdown show which was done much earlier.
You will be able to hit both shows

They served alcohol during the Neurosis/Mastodon show. You had to purchase drink tickets first. Short lines.
"BMT is the illest."
I liked BMT, but I still rather see Man Man at the Bowery Ballroom.

they serve alcohol there. they've had a couple of 21+ shows there in the past month.

I was at the Band of Horses show at the BMT, and they were serving $5 keg cups of PBR and some sort of Monster/Vodka concoction. I don't think there were any other options.
Not to get on my high horse, but the posting of false information on this site has gotten worse and worse, and is threatening to run the site into obscurity.

There will be beer sold at this show. You must show an ID to get a wristband to drink. Doors are at 7:30. Show starts at 8:30. Coyote will open the show, followed by Yeasayer, then Man Man.
There is a midnight curfew at the Temple. The show will be over a little before that. The Temple is a two minute walk from Clinton/ Washington G Train which is five stops from Metropolitan Ave. stop if you have energy left after. THIS SHOW IS GONNA BE NUTS!
