same day as APW...hmmm which one is better? lol

Posted by Anonymous | April 21, 2008 11:33 AM

Um, that photo is from like 20 years ago, they have a different drummer (no longer the guy with the mustache in the back left!). couldn't you find a more recent photo! and unlike the person above, i think it's a drag that it's the same day as APW, i would love to see both shows!

I am aware that the photo is from the 80s, and that the lineup has changed slightly since then, but the core of the band is still intact.

Plus, I just think the pic is fun.

Just hope that their respective drummers don't spontaneously combust before the tour begins.

What's the theme of the pic?

Posted by Anonymous | April 21, 2008 1:51 PM

Judas Priest, ready to climb some scaffolding and get back on the job at the construction site.

Safety Is Priority #1 for the Priest. Looking Ridiculous in Leather Pants Is a Close 2nd.

That photo would have been taken during the British Steel album area around 1980. Lots of fun to see the pic especially for those of us who were rocking then.

"what is the pre-sale password ?

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2008 10:40 PM"

There is no pre sale password. As long as you have a CITI credit card you can get tickets during the presale.

Rob Halford enjoys spiked bracelets, leather, jungle gyms, and balls across the nose.

Posted by Anonymous | May 9, 2008 10:08 AM

i just got Orchestra 3 tickets. in total they're like $84-sumthing. totally worth it! get em while they last.

That is a section of scaffolding, not a jungle gym you ignorant bastards.

Even though Halford is a homo (to each his own), he is one of the three greatest metal vocalists, the others being Ronnie James Dio, and Geoff Tate.

I will be at the Camden show on Aug 6, and it is an honor to be able to see two of the three vocalists mentioned.

Black Sabbath invented heavy metal, Judas Priest, took it to the next level, and Motorhead fused metal with the punk's rawness. All of these bands deserve the respect that they get. (see who Metallica's influences are).

All of these bands started in the 1970's, especially Black Sabbath who started in 1968, before there was a term "heavy metal".

So please, have respect for these bands who paved the way for all of the others who followed.

Remember, these bands were kicking ass before most of you "jungle gym" commentators were born.

Hehe, Judas Priest are about to come to Romania too, only I have to cross the country to see them, hopefully I will be able to do that. Motorhead have already been here. They are indeed masters.
