Dear Friends of My Morning Jacket,My Morning Jacket - 2008 Tour DatesOn June 10th, 2008, My Morning Jacket will release their 5th studio album, "Evil Urges". Just like we did with Z and Okonokos, we'd like to offer up the opportunity to host a listening party and celebrate the new record with family and friends, before it gets released to the public.
If you're interested in participating, please respond to evilurges@mymorningjacket.com with your name, address, email and phone number. We're going to do our best in choosing those who have responded first, we'd also like to make sure that as many people from different cities/locations can host listening parties. So, while you may be among the first to respond, it's our hope that the music can be heard and shared in a variety of locations all over the world.
Once you've been contacted, a package containing: My Morning Jacket posters, a t-shirt, and of course an advance copy of Evil Urges, for you to share with your friends and family..... will be on it's way to you!!!

ONE nyc area show?! what the hell...maybe they will get added as the real headliner for day 3 at APW
as far as the cover goes...yea whats with the big head on the cover? they shud use the 2nd pic as the cover and the real cover as the picture on the cd itself, or the back of the case.

the new song isnt bad...his voice sounds like it got higher tho, idk maybe its just me...Z was a great album so we'll have to see
they put on one of the best live shows ive ever witnessed b4.

The Tennessee Fire's cover is pretty bad
The at Dawn Cover is bad
The It Still Moves Cover has to be one of the worst ever
And the Z cover is great
and it seemed like they got it right.

This cover isn't all that bad. Seriously, it couldn't have been any worse than Z. But it doesn't really matter. I don't care about album covers. I care about the music. And I know it will be great.
