just got my tix for dc.

Holy crap! $90 after service charge including seats behind the stage 400's! I'll pass!

Sold out in less than 10 minutes.

Aren't Pearl Jam against high ticket fees? Shit is way too expensive.

Everything left is either behind the stage or in the 300 section. Guess no Pearl Jam show for me.

behind the stage in 300 is probably better seat than a seat in the 100s-200s on the far side of the floor, keep that in mind.

I have been buying tickets for MSG events for ages and the best seats I have ever non fan club tickets were middle floor. MSG notorously holds back the first ten rows for vips, celebrties and rarley releases them to the general public. In addition you got the fan club. Just doesn't seem fesible thats all. If it was Camden I would have no problem believing people got 4th row!

ywah 11:20 I agree. I bet some great seats will be up day of or 1 day before the show, so remember to check then. I scored prime seats for NIN/DFA1979 few years back that way.

That is just a totally false and stupid statement. I too have been buying tickets for MSG for years and have got great seats in the first sections on the floor many times during the regular sale. Maybe you just do not have good ticket buying luck. And not all the tickets in that area are held back for vips and celebrities especially when that area makes up most of their gold circle seating aka top ticket price. Vip's and Celebs usually get comps. Do you really think they would hold back all their top ticket priced seats to give away for free. And quite frankly many vip's and celebrities get their tickets in the loge section right to left and right of the stage.
Finally, once again, who gives a shit what you believe Anon 11:20. I know what i got and im sorry you didnt get seats like mine. Too bad for you.

That's correct and let's not forget the big scalpers. They always have sets of those seats for sale at ridicilous prices. There's no way any person or company getting those seats on their own through Ticketmaster for every single show. They definitely have inside connections and that's where most of the best seats go to.

I just got through to ticketmaster and got row 1 on the floor for me and six friends! Should be a rockin' good show! I'm sorry ya'll didn't score great seats like myself and-- oh shit, that unicorn is back trompin' around in my chocolate garden. gotta run.

the vips, exec, celebs etc get side stage, not front. usually sections 76-80 at msg. bands don't want them in the front.
