Our last Rock 'n ROFL was seriously off the hook. Our May 5 Rock 'N ROFL will be no different. The comedy portion of Rock 'n ROFL begins a little after 9:00. Here are four reasons why you should line up early (or buy tix now)...

----

Max Silvestri

Max Silvestri

Max Silvestri is kicking things off and hosting ROFL! I'm a huge fan of Max and am so excited he's hosting the show. A recent installment of Max's wonderful show I Like Attention (at Sound Fix) was famously shut down because of health code violations (that he had nothing to do with; as a person, he's quite tidy).

----

Kurt Braunohler

Max Silvestri

Kurt Braunohler is going to be there! Kurt was supposed to perform with Kristen Schaal at the first Rock 'n ROFL, but due to illness had to cancel. This time around, he'll be performing solo and this is cause for excitement. One of the funniest stand-up moments I've ever seen was delivered by Kurt at UCB a while back. This will be amazing.

----

John Mulaney

John Mulaney is going to be there! At a mere 25 years of age, John is hands down one of the funniest, brightest, and most able comedians in NYC. I've seen him a zillion times, but his performance at Irving Plaza during this past (and probably last) Comedians of Comedy tour was probably my favorite. It was electrifying. For me his set was the strongest of that evening, and judging by how rapt the crowd was I think most would agree. You won't want to miss him at this ROFL.

----

The Perfect Storm

the perfect storm

THE PERFECT STORM is going to be there! The Perfect Storm are a couple of guys from Gloucester MA who are going to dominate. You may recall that the Perfect Storm recently opened for the Handsome Furs at Bowery a few weeks ago. This is a super rare appearance that I promise you is way way way worth the cost of admission.

----

Someone Else (TBA)

Someone Else is going to be there! There's totally going to be another act. It'll be a surprise.

----

Music

All this AND The Acorn and The War on Drugs. If you need more encouragement to spend your Cinco de Mayo at Pianos with us you must be the craziest bastard alive.
