i didnt realize the bravery were even still around.

Posted by Anonymous | April 16, 2008 12:57 PM

wasn't the bravery a band that existed between
the years 1982-1986 ?

Posted by danidin | April 16, 2008 2:29 PM

always looking for "something for nothing."

Posted by Anonymous | April 16, 2008 3:33 PM

yet another reason why I HATE this band.

Posted by Anonymous | April 16, 2008 3:38 PM

the bravery are absolute shit, i had the utter misfortune of going to a show they opened, their music is derivative bullshit imitation dance punk, every member of the band is an arrogant asshole with cro-magnon intelligence, and they lip sync. what a bunch of worthless faggots

"the chance of a lifetime..."

it will be unpaid, but you'll get a choice of "groupie", "desperate" or "scenestar" official e-certificates to print off and share with your friends, courtesy of island records. I wish.

i can't say i'm a big fan of their music or anything, but why is there so much hate for this band? as far as i can tell they play pretty much the same stuff a lot of other bands play, they're nice people and definitely don't lip sync.

have different tastes is cool and important, but i can't help feeling like hating on this band is 'fashionable' the same way liking other bands is. and in my opinion, there's no room for that kind of thinking in a creative music culture.

please. I can't stand hipster contrarions either but seriously, you're argument has no place here. The bravery truly do not make good music.

not that I think anyone was planning on going to this AND it's too late, but I was just told to alert people that "the photo shoot at the Bowery Ballroom has been canceled"
