Just happened to be in Seattle area that weekend with a free day on Saturday. Couple good things each day but my world is not rockethed. Move Wolf Parade to Sat and I'd certainly be there.

More like Sub Par records (these days, that is). The Flight of the Conchords actual perform? Christ, I thought it was bad enough that kids ate the shit up on the television - you can actually see them and buy a CD, too? Awful.
And what's the deal, Sub Pop couldn't get any of their big acts to play their birthday party? Band of Horses, Ben Gibbard and that other guy, even David Cross won't fly over to Washington for a 45 minute set? Nobody likes The Shins anymore so nevermind them. Shame shame. Screw this label, when is the Matador festival/showcase happening with the Pavement reunion?

This show might not be up to the pretentious par of the vapid, listless, bitchy 20 something new york cunt crowd, but it's pretty good for Washington. So piss off and do your philosophy homework or go to drama practice or whatever it is your parents pay for you to do here.

Flight of the Conchords have been performing live since 2002, played at the 2006 Sub Pop showcase at SXSW, and have at least two Sub Pop releases.
The HBO series premiered in June 2007.
Sorry if you never heard of them until they were on TV, but they are not a "tv show band performing".
