it was pretty good. new stuff is still pretty good. they seem like down to earth guys...which I guess you need to be when you plummet back down to earth, as they have...

I like the new record, so shoot me.

They're a curious band. I love 'em live, but I never listen to the first record all the way through. Yet, when individual songs come up during shuffle they sound amazing.

Heard a little of the new album online. Wans't going crazy over it but, then again, it was over a shitty internet stream. Go figure.

yawn. i think you should have taken more pictures. new record is great if you like drew barrymore movies. back to smaller venues after this tour boys. once people hear this sleeper, they will go back to forgetting about you

they need more Izod sweaters like Vampire Weekend. can't wait to see them at a real venue like Terminal 5. they are gonna open for Interpol on New Years Eve at MSG

everyone in Minneapolis think they r arrogant dicks. can't even sell out their hometown. white denim will blow them away every night

11:31am is dead wrong

not everyone in Minneapolis thinks they are arrogant dicks... in fact, most people who know them personally can vouch that they are some of the most down to earth people ever.

Josh and his wife are almost always hanging out at the Turf Club in the Clown Lounge when they're not on tour and are both totally approachable and super nice.

@11:31 - HUH?

TNT are some of the nicest people in the world. I live in Minneapolis and work in the music scene. I've never heard anyone refer to the members of Tapes 'N Tapes as "arrogant dicks."

I do like that everyone who posts negative comments is always "anonymous." Yes, it's nice to hide behind that, isn't it?

they were really good at virgin yesterday.

Posted by Anonymous | April 9, 2008 4:33 PM

who are these people that think the new album or that they sound good live (i was at virgin yesterday too)? are you fans of counting crows too? they might be nice guys but they're well on their way to nothingness with this new album. i'll place that bet with anyone and all of you...

after an amazing first album,TnT didnt seem to show up on this one. im seeing them in a week so hopefully they can get back some credibility back by putting on a good show. overall though, i can't stop and think how disapointed i am with the new album
