as much as "indie" people don't care about jack johnson...he sells a ton of records and tons of bros are into him. so while your friends might not care about him, his CDs open at number 1 so obviously people are listening.

This is my problem with the idea that Jack Johnson is headlining every festival in America this year (he finally got bumped from closing Bonnaroo on the final night for Panic). I mean I like Jack Johnson a lot but he isn't a headliner by any means. He is fun to hear, but certainly shouldn't be closing a four day festival.

a band of monkeys with tambourines can put on a more fun show than JJ. that said, everyone outside the indie ghetto plays his stuff in their car, and i even know some english girls who adore him. i don't own any of his music but he doesn't offend me either.
