when are Justice and The Verve going on a stadium tour together?

goddammit

This should say SELECT tickets available. The only seats for the 25-20 dollar range are the middle(200's) and the upper (300's) which are pretty much the shittiest seats in this venue. No Pit or 100's at this price range.

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2008 6:30 PM

when i first got the email i was pretty pissed, but considering there are no pit tickets at this price, i'd gladly pay fifty for them again.

the verve should of just played webster hall or something. i never thought they were big enough to fill the wamu.

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2008 6:53 PM

with convenience charges, the tickets cost almost the same as paying for them at the full face value.

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2008 7:04 PM

they shouldve played Terminal 5

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2008 7:07 PM

>they shouldve played Terminal 5

fuck that. i saw nada surf / superdrag a few weeks ago and my ears are still fucked from it.

$60 after service charge is just too damn much for pretty much any band... especially when you can goto a festival with 30+ bands for $90

"$60 after service charge is just too damn much for pretty much any band... especially when you can goto a festival with 30+ bands for $90"

A band's full show is always better than festival shows. Worth the extra money

I don't follow your logic? I scored the very best pair of seats available at half price.

does it feel good getting all puffed up behind the anonymity? not having to deal with the consequence of getting the shit slapped out of you for your dumbass comments?

i'm done now, but feel free to have the last word.

Are these recession prices?

Posted by anonymous2 | April 23, 2008 9:32 AM

"with convenience charges, the tickets cost almost the same as paying for them at the full face value."

I am surprised that no one commented on this yet. 50% off means half price, so even with convenience charges, the tickets still cost half as much as full face value. Not a numbers guy, eh?

Regardless, you couldn't pay me to attend this show.

And you were done after the first comment you made just for the record.

Nothing about those seats could be described with the word "Best"
Shit even at half price is still shit.

Posted by Anonymous | April 23, 2008 10:29 AM

you guys are fucking idiots.

real show or festival shows - it doesnt matter when the band (like the verve) sucks.

Posted by tim duncan | April 23, 2008 10:32 AM

I don't know about this show, but earlier this year, I bought a half-price ticket to a show at B.B. King's through Ticketbastard, and after fees, it was only a few bucks less than what I would've paid for a full-price ticket at B.B. King's box office.

Posted by Anonymous | April 23, 2008 11:34 AM

Ticket PriceUS $20.00
Convenience ChargeUS $9.50

That's a 49% surcharge. Insane.

Urban Hymns is one of the greatest albums ever. Fuck you hipster scumbags!

You could buy face value tickets at the box office and not have to pay the ticket charges, and thus get get much better seats than you would with this promotion, but at pretty much the same price, as this promotion is online only.

Posted by Anonymous | April 23, 2008 12:21 PM

WHO'S OPENING ON TUESDAY NITE?

Posted by Anonymous | April 23, 2008 1:36 PM

Didn't realize you could get tix at the box office for WaMu theater shows. In that case, I understand the sentiment. I was going on the premise that the "convenience" charges were the same for all price points.

Posted by yo mama | April 23, 2008 3:40 PM

"I was going on the premise that the 'convenience' charges were the same for all price points."

If you mean your original comment was based on that premise, it wasn't. You wrote, "50% off means half price, so even with convenience charges, the tickets still cost half as much as full face value. Not a numbers guy, eh?"

If you mean you were attacking that premise, you were, and are, wrong. I just went through the motions of buying a pair of $50 tickets:

Standard Admission US $50.00 x 2
Total Convenience Charge(s) US $10.25 x 2
Order Processing Charge(s) US $3.15
Will Call No Charge
TOTAL CHARGES US $123.65

50% Off Selected Seats US $25.00 x 2
Total Convenience Charge(s) US $9.65 x 2

Order Processing Charge(s) US $3.15
Will Call No Charge
TOTAL CHARGES US $72.45

So STFU.
