"Daddy's Favorite.....U2" (Randy's Birthday)

U2's deal with Live Nation puts the promoter in business with one of the highest earning bands in the world for more than a decade. In related news, a new CD of African U2 covers just came out. It's a 12-year deal with Live Nation Artists that includes worldwide touring, merchandising, and the band's U2.com Web site. The deal, however, is not a true 360-degree pact, as there is no publishing component and the band retains its relationship with Universal Music to release music. [Billboard]

Officially. But they've been sucking Satan's cock for the past 20 years already. This just makes them even more corporate. Like Monsanto. : ) Genetically modified for your listening pleasure.

um, october is still the absolute fire...that is to say, shit's hot.
when i listen to it, i just try to pretend that it's not u2, but some other band who isn't perenially dedicated to defiling their legacy anf forsaking their past.

i didn't know what's his fuck name from Disney, Michael , was such a big U2 fan. he looks really happy in the photo.
as for U2 themselves: they had some punk cred around 25 years ago. now they're the mitt romney of mainstream music.

I can only wait for the day that I have enough to eat, have healthy kids, and am happy. Randy is lucky.
