Could you imagine if Talking Heads actually did replace Jack Johnson as headliner for Sunday, how completely different the reaction would have been to this festival.

BV is mean.

David Byrne was recently asked if the Talking Heads would ever get back together. His reply: "That's like asking someone if they're planning on getting back together with their High School girlfriend."
So, don't expect it anytime soon. (except on April 1st , of course)

can we make Talking Heads the new Daft Punk joke pls
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2008 5:41 PM

Anyone got an idea what time Black Pus is playing at Death By Audio. Is it before or after their set at Market Hotel?

Hmmm I agree it's not going to happen but that's a bad analogy. People often hook up with their old high school girlfriends. Perhaps David Byrne should have a one-night stand in New York.

Never!
Sincerely,
Daft Punk
p.s. anyone wanna know what time we're going on?
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2008 5:47 PM
obviously david byrne has yet to see the "high school reunion" show on tvland.

yo hows black pus gonna bus it from bushwick back to the burg to play two shows at once? not that its incredibly far, but this seems a bit schizo, even for brian c
Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2008 6:03 PM
does anyone realize that there is only one show with both health/dan deacon/knyfe hyts and black pus? the two shows merged.

"Talking Heads have been added to the All Points West Festival lineup."
I guess Daft Punk would've been too obvious.

David Byrne was recently asked if his high school girlfriend and he would ever get back together. His reply: "That's like asking someone if they're planning on getting back together with their Junior High School girlfriend."

A more accurate analogy would be: "That's like asking someone if they'd get back together with their high school girlfriend FOR A FEW MILLIONS DOLLARS."
hell, i'd consider it.

What's the big deal - they got back together 10 years ago - without Byrne of course (which pretty much made a Tom Tom Club +1 reunion). The album sucked.

What a stupid comment about the lack of hot girls. I can infer that the people that come to shows to meet hot women are the same ones talking over the bands all nite. Sheesh.
