This Friday, April 4, Eugene will be hosting a show at Joe's Pub in NYC where Alina Simone will perform songs from her upcoming record, Everyone Is Crying Out To Me, Beware, which consists of covers of Russian punk-folk icon Yanka Dyagileva. I think Dirty on Purpose put on a pretty good show, but I couldn't hear the band over all the drunken idiots shouting at each other at the top of their lungs throughout the entire set.
