Dirty Projectors tonight! Did you get the free Bjork cover they did for Stereogum yet? Happy hour before the show.
No Kids are opening for DP, but sadly they weren't that great live when I recently saw them (at my day show at SXSW). I heard they weren't that dynamic when they opened for the Dodos the other day at Mercury Lounge either. bummer.
Tay Zonday vs South Park vs gophers, etc. Below. What else?

South Park has been pretty terrible this season.. that Youtube battle was funny for about 2 seconds, as with almost everything in the last four episodes (excepting the 'Heavy Metal' tribute one a.k.a Major Boobage which was okay).

The "Nothing Takes Priority Over Chocolate Rain" tag is sure to get a lot of use.

Projectors are the best band in New York, bar none. Canada is going on strike.

considering how long hisham/soft circle has been around, it's amazing that he continually plays the smallest venues.

Wow - the new Jason Anderson album kicks ass. Surprising to see it took him so long to put these songs to record - I heard a lot of them when I saw him back in fall of 2005 with Mt. Eerie. Hopefully it won't get overlooked as a Hold Steady copycat.
