I like how the first show sold out in 10 seconds and the second show is still on sale after 30 minutes.

thanks BV! still, this show should sell out pretty quickly too...

"I like how the first show sold out in 10 seconds and the second show is still on sale after 30 minutes."
What do you like about that?

I was wondering what he liked about it. So?

this will be a good show to go to if you are single guy because all the broads there will be worked up after Liz Phair sings all those about how much she loves the dick.

this hack sucked in 1994. she must REALLY suck now.

Sorry for the confusion.... I guess I should have said that it was "interesting" that the first show sold out in a matter of seconds and the second show took about 40 minutes. Not really a matter of liking. Perhaps that was a bit of a syntactical error on my part.

What's interesting about it? She's not huge. Her die-hard fans bought up the first show. Less people needing tickets when the second show went up.

It took longer to sell out because fewer people knew about the second show. If there had been an announcement it would have been different.

Two shows at a decent venue in 40 minutes ten seconds still isn't bad.

1 more reason to hate bowery. They couldn't have the decency to let anyone know they were adding a 2nd show.

What does that mean? Isn't it possible they added the second show after the first one sold out so quickly? Regardless, I can't believe Exile in Guyville is so divisive. Never would have guessed that so many people sit around hating on Liz Phair fans.

People here hate everything. No surprises there.

i like negative approach, polvo, cpc gangbangs...and exile in guyville...so there.

2:04, decent venue? you need to go out more dude. b&t crowd must be taking a break from the place that nite.

yeah... Hiro does kinda suck. You really need to get there early to be able to see anything. But it does seem like a pretty good venue for this show.

I wonder, in total, how many indie dorks have beaten off to Liz Phair.
There's at least one that I know of.

Freddy -
Meant decent sized wasn't referring to the quality.

there's at least one more, anon 4:08....

the hiro sucks.
this would have been better at BB or Town Hall.
even better than that, at Ethical Culture.

people hate Hiro for excellent reasons. I love Exile but can't imagine paying to see a musical performance there, especially an acoustic singer-songwriter.
pretty sure you won't be getting lucky with any ex-kinderwhore soccer moms! it's only kids paying for these tix. those of us old enough to remember the 90s remember her live show, and none of us wanna go through that again.

Every single one.

1993: She said "blow job" in a song! Wow! How revolutionary. What a great album!
1998: chocolateeggdropsoup kinds sucks. Come to think of it, Guyville doesn't sound so good lately either.
2008: Liz who?

Anyone know what time she started last night?
Posted by Anonymous | June 26, 2008 11:56 AM
8:30 on the dot

Liz rocked last night. She looked great in her daisy dukes. Cute shoes too. The Hiro had good air conditioning considering the amount of people that were there. Liz played the entire evening with a smile plastered on her face. The crowd was into every song. I hope with A.T.O. she'll find her creativity again and produce albums worth listening to like Exile and Whip Smart.
