Ambulance LTD playing Bowery, sorting 'label nonsense'
Ambulance LTD @ Mercury Lounge in April (more by Bao Nguyen)

We will be playing the Bowery Ballroom in New York on July 24th - tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday 5/9)Thank you so much for supporting us - hopefully this label nonsense will be sorted soon (see links below) and we can finish up and release our 2nd album and be playing in a city near you.

blame this on illegal filesharing? I'm sorry the only theives robbing artists are the fucking labels, and TVT are a bunch of crooks. Inaccurate reporting, too...music sales are up, cd sales are down. More bands releasing more music than ever before in history, and the internet is killing music? Please. bad contracts, bad business models, and lots of lawyers suing kids for having music on the ipods, that'll solve all the problems.

In the article, the guy says he wants a record label (the one in bankruptcy that they're already signed to or a different one that they would sign to) to finance the recording of his band's next record but he wants to give away the record to promote his band's shows. In other words, he wants to have his cake and eat it, too.
