if the band's just playing the album from beginning to end, why would you want a two day pass?
how long will their second set be, if any?
Posted by Anonymous | May 15, 2008 11:54 AM
don't get me wrong, this is the best lineup for a show i have seen in ages...but what is the point of the two day pass...the both shows will be nearly identical...i guess it is a nice offer, but all you save is a service charge...at that only $4.25. s/c on single is $6.25 and on 2 day is $8.50

well, the first set will obviously be the same - pfno. but they could end up switching around then entire second set. years ago, they would play two and three night sets at tiny clubs in seattle and play entirely different sets each night between originals and covers.

I still can't believe I spent so much money to see Dinousaur Jr at Summerstage two years ago. Who knew they'd start playing NYC once a month after that?

all those shows, you'd think mascis could finally afford a haircut and some hair coloring...

Posted by Anonymous | May 15, 2008 12:35 PM
um. aren't they playing the album front to back. not much change in that

Who cares what they are playing. The fact that shows are at Terminal Shit will mean it will all sound like one giant echo of sludge. Enjoy.
