In response to 1:23's much more, um, sensible comment: I think you're right on, with the exception that in my mind Daniel Johnston's best music was released less than 25 years ago (18, to be exact), on the album 1990. At the very least, it rivals any of the early home recordings.

This man might have a lot of problems- mental/biological- but he's a frickn' GENIUS! If you haven't seen the documentary about him, it's a MUST.

He's ANYTHING but retarded. This man is brilliant. He did things as a young kid without training that most people couldn't even think of or know how. He's intelligent, he just has some disabilities but this man is AMAZING.

It could be a good show live. Most people realize that he does say somethings that are offensive but so do alot of other people. Does he mean them i am not sure and i do not think anyone else can say for sure he might just say them to get publicity.
