"Death by Audio is a collective of friends centered around the guitar pedal factory/independent rock venue by the same name in Brooklyn, NY. With so much music surrounding this DIY network, the founders of the Death By Audio camp have decided to take it a step further and create their own imprint.In related news, A Place To Bury Strangers are busy playing shows....There are two bands currently in the DBA stable: Coin Under Tongue & Sisters."

wow APTBS really, really is awful-sounding music, not original at all

who ever said it was original? it's certainly the furthest thing from it, but i think they're ripping off better bands than everyone else is ripping off these days. and they're doing the ripping off better, too.

The Coin Under Tongue record is killer. The track "The New Lore" is worth the $7 by itself.

sometimes imitation can be a good thing..(Circulatory System, Olivia Tremor Control), APTBS live is even better
