Even the most jaded amongst us must admit, this FREE Summer Sunday lineup is simply fantastic! You can definitely dump a few emails in my spam filter for this JellyNYC.

Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 1:41 PM

btw, Shooter...did you know that May is BikeMonthNYC?
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 1:43 PM
some big bands have played there in the past and I've never had a problem getting in.
just show up early. sure the beer is overpriced but a cool day chilling in the sun, usually pretty good opening bands, lots of hot women. it's a fun day.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 1:48 PM
You won't have a problem getting in. People were let in last year even without the RSVP.
This line up is great. Aesop Rock, hell yeah.

Posted by hipster poseur | May 1, 2008 3:00 PM
what would we do without people like you Hipster Poseur.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 3:02 PM
"MGMT killed it at Coachella."
You sure you are not referring to Les Savy Fav or The Black Lips? Or maybe your definition of "killed it" means put people to sleep?
Posted by CN | May 1, 2008 3:04 PM
I wonder who next years' MGMT will be
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 3:06 PM
^ abe vigoda
Posted by hipster poseur | May 1, 2008 3:32 PM
anon 3:02..probably cry
Posted by hipster poseur | May 1, 2008 3:33 PM
They should charge $3 like at Prospect Park in order to keep the crowd down. $3 is nothing if you are a fan of the band.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 3:40 PM
is "Hipster Poseur" supposed to be funny? because if so their humor went over my head.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 4:00 PM
yay yay yay. i thought for sure the breeders would be a pay show.
Posted by sarah | May 1, 2008 4:03 PM
I agree with the 3 dollar idea. I think they should actually jack it up to $5, since dollar went way way down in value since last year.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 4:07 PM
great lineup! i hope they bring back dead meadow! they played such an amazing performance two years ago...too bad this is the last summer! My wish is that do make say think is added. i can only hope
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 4:25 PM
SLIP AND SLIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!!!!
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 4:36 PM
a most excellent job of guerrilla marketing, Ryder.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 5:03 PM
how about some more diversity with the groups and performers? i mean, i like some of these groups, but it's damn brooklyn for chrissakes! just seems like the same ol exclusive bs geared towards one group of people (ie - hipster a-holes). no wonder there's so much disdain for some of you.
Posted by god below | May 1, 2008 6:27 PM
I'll probably only go to M&K. yawn to the rest
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 6:52 PM
"I'll probably only go to M&K. yawn to the rest"
Good to know. I was hoping you'd tell us which show you'd be going to so I can be sure to be there too.
Posted by Anonymous | May 1, 2008 7:00 PM
Matt & Kim sucks. I hope everyone who goes to that show contracts AIDS.
