This was probably the most fun show I have been to since the last time I saw M&K. It blows my mind when people hate on these two. Their shows are just pure joy. Gotta love when Matt incites riots. Just like @ Siren, he did it again last night, telling everyone to crowd surf after security told us they would shut down the show if it didn't stop. Can't wait for the pool/highline/club exit.

It's not a matter of "hating on" them, it's just that they seem to ride on their enthusiasm and the music is super ordinary. They may be lovely folks and good performers but that only gets you so far. That said, I think people over a certain age don't get nor are they intended to get it.

So well said pjx. You figure most of the fans of this band are really young or dont have much discerning taste in music. Anything that gets them jumping around is "awesome" and "mind blowing" I dont think it has anything to do with not getting it or intended to get it. I think it is just ordinary and unfortunately what passes for a lot of "good" music these days.

I noticed that too. jeezz, if you step into the dangerzone stop bitchin' about your equipment. for a change I actually know what I am talking about as I got my cams trashed more than once. if one can't afford to loose equipment one should choose a spot more carefully. this bitchin' and trying to smack people is nothing short of retarded.
