As just mentioned, Violens are playing Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight (May 8). Violens are also playing Union Pool tomorrow (May 9th), and they were recently named one of L Magazine's bands you need to hear.

I actually dug the hell out of that Violens remix... the original always seemed to veer too much into Mates of State territory - not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

Jorge could do much better than this crap... even when he played Patience by Guns n' Roses back in fifth grade, it was better than this shit. Maybe his point of this is that it's MGMT (really they're not that great).. so it makes little difference.. and this song sucks live when they played it on late night tv, a good video that's it. Who's amazing baby? what an original name :)
