Mr Brownstone playing on July 4th (after Sonic Youth)

Mr. Brownstone (the drunken Guns n' Roses cover band) is playing a show at Bowery Ballroom in NYC on July 4th. Openers haven't been announced yet, but tickets are on sale. If you like Guns n Roses and alcohol then this is a good option if you're looking for something to do after Sonic Youth and/or the fireworks.

Mr. Brownstone tore down the house on NYE in Brooklyn. Probably the best "fun" show you could be at and that doesn't include an ex fueled night at a Danny T. DJ gig. Different kind of fun but just as fun nonetheless.

BTW - it's a 21+ show. TM says both 18+ and 21+ but it's the latter.

By definition, the worst original band is better than the best cover band.
Plan accordingly.

Like many fans at the last browstone show i left my bag on the side of the room so i could danc, and I saw these hipsters going all our bags taking things. I didn't want to confront them because I didn't want to get stabbed.

Hipsters stabbing folks? I'd like to see that. Seeing them get stabbed, now that I'd pay money for!

Hipsters can't stab anyone - have you seen a hipster trying to drink a Capri Sun?

Mr Brownstone is the most fun ive had at a concert in years. its good to enjoy a show like this every once in a while. it cant all be dirty projectors all the time.

DP all of the time? I'll pay Slash to force JD down my throat until I die to avoid that.
However, I do concur, the MR. B guys do it very well and have more fun than anyone else in the room while doing it.
