FUN FACT: the person who was playing guitar with Gnarls Barkley at Highline Ballroom and on SNL, is Heather McIntosh of The Instruments and other Athens and Elephant Six bands.
The Instruments are playing Union Hall on May 21st and Cake Shop four dates later.

Actually, it's more likely that the reference here is to Fharles Tarkley, the 14th century pig-fucking monk-dwarf.

I thought it was a reference to Snarls Barkly, the lovable Disney pooch who was known for the cute little snarl that he'd flash at just the right/wrong moment, to ensuing hilarity. No?
