Bought two, came to $123 with fees. It's worth it, though.

Ticketmaster kept acting a fool but I managed to get GA tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 10:09 AM

how are those GA tickets? I just got two of those...Is that area right in front of the stage?

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 10:10 AM

Got 2 GA tickets no problem. Anon 10:10, it is the area right in front of the stage.

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 10:15 AM

GA tickets are the best seats in the house right in the front (they remove the 100 section seats), and if you dont feel like standing, you can sit in the first two rows.

I realize chicks dig him, but, damn – Nick Cave is one ugly motherfucker.

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 10:20 AM

nick cave is hottttt!

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 10:28 AM

It said there was an error processing my request but I've received an e-mail saying I got a ticket. Conveniently, the 'error' screen appeared before it told me what additional fees were going to be added.

$63.15 - that's fees of over $13.00 for one ticket. I'm used to going to smaller shows I guess, but that seems extortionate. I'd love to see a break down of their justification for that amount.

those fees will drop when TM's live nation contract runs out. no more monopoly

Posted by James Snuka | May 2, 2008 10:40 AM

PLEASE NO COMPLAINING ABOUT TM CHARGES!!!!

Seriously, it happens EVERY TIME! You act like this is the first time you got charged a ridiculous amount of service charges from TM.

DEAL WITH IT and be happy you got a ticket to see NICK CAVE on one his only 2 east coast appearances.

ps- smile!

ps - please add a Philly date on the Friday before the MSG show.

To 10:53 AM: Actually I think it's important to keep this issue out there. Does anyone know if anyone is doing anything constructive to stop this shit? If so I'd be interested in helping out.

to 10:53am ...EatABago'Dicks! and quit telling people to "Smile" -

whilst the convenience charge outcry will continue to be heard what's bothersome to me is how the system is really starting to be wonky. when you enter the correct code it sometimes takes you directly to "you have exceeded your time limit" i first found this with the r.e.m. sale a few weeks back. the sometimes undecipherable words you're given and the like...

and with the tom waits tour being announced soon i don't want to run into these problems again.

just saying is all

Posted by javier buchananeversonia | May 2, 2008 11:21 AM

I was having trouble getting through too.
The words seem to be caps sensitive though, which I wasn't doing at first.

I ended up getting on the phone.

GA seats are sold out. For now anyways. I got stuck in 201.

Posted by Anonymous | May 2, 2008 11:27 AM

so goddam there ..

Posted by Ron Mwangaguhunga | May 2, 2008 11:27 AM

Javier makes a good point. I got sent to the expired time limit screen buying these Cave tickets, even though I probably only spent 15 seconds or so filling out the forms. If something like that fucks up my chances at Tom Waits tickets, I will probably weep like a little girl for weeks.

chicks dig him BECAUSE he's ugly. they know he's disposable, not a keeper, so they let themselves feel free to get turned on by him, knowing it won't (you know) "lead" to anything heavy. That's why you should grow a silly mustache if you want to be as hot as Nick Cave. the mustache says, "Don't worry, you can do whatever you want, and I'm not going to be expecting the same thing from you next weekend."

just got tix. hope he does "deanna."

I am (will be) a knocking
with my toolbox and my stocking
in the "moshpit"
WTF ticketmaster?!?!??!

Posted by Anonymous | May 3, 2008 2:43 AM

actually, when live nation leaves tm it will have no effect on the ticket charges at msg shows. msg has the deal with tm, so charges will remain the same...
