The sound was sooo awful. No vocals but enough crash symbol to make the speakers hiss. Great job sound guy.

new album is great!

The guitar needs to be much louder in the mix for bands like No Age. The lack of bass makes things pretty thin otherwise. Listen to the White Stripes live--Jack's guitar sound is immense, and it needs to be.

I'm sure No Age was the most exciting thing in NYC last night (yawn), but I'm surprised to see nothing on this site about Springsteen's performance in Red Bank last night. He performed Darkness on the Edge of Town from start to finish...and then performed Born to Run from start to finish. And then played 4 encores including Kitty's Back and Rosalita.

No Age on Tuesday were a lot better than Japanther on Wednesday. First Japanther show I ever saw that was dull, I think because they waited till 11:30 to go on (doors were at 7) and everybody was bored and Europa is no fun.

don't blame the Bowery soundguy... because No Age had their own soundguy... but i agree with you... they sounded like shit... maybe that is because they suck!... or because they are trying to fill a room with just a drum kit and an electric guitar that has the WORST TONE I HAVE EVER HEARD!... perhaps that could be it?... i don't know... maybe?
