NYC Popfest

The annual NYC Popfest will bring indie pop bands from around the world to six NYC venues from June 12th through the 15th. Each show will have its own tickets (some only at the door) (some in advance like the Ladybug Transistor one at MHOW), or you can buy a festival pass for just $60 which will get you into everything including Love is All at Cakeshop(!). Love is all are also playing Market Hotel. The Ladybug Transistor is also playing a Brooklyn library this month. Full Popfest lineup below....

Anyone who hasn't heard Oh Custer! needs to hear them. I hope they can book a few more gigs this week, so people can hear this band. I'm recording their set on the 12th at Cake Shop to spread the word.

the indie pop dance party is always fun - i try to go every year. more cute indie girls than you can shake a B&S vinyl at.

the bbq at union pool was lovely. met loads of nice people and the bands were great - even the onces i didn't know!
