Following the beautiful “Acoustic Mainlines” performances in November and April, including a mind-altering performance deep in the desert at this year’s Coachella (was it really?), Spiritualized announce plans to return to the US with a full electric band.
The band will be performing songs from their catalogue, including tracks from their soon-to-be released sixth studio album, Songs in A&E, (May 27, 2008 on Fontana International/Spaceman Records). First single “Soul On Fire” comes replete with a stunning music video, inspired by Jason Spaceman’s hospitalization from double pneumonia shortly after recording the album. It was directed by Jim Canty and filmed in London and on a glacier in Iceland.
