The Heavy @ SXSW (w/ Playboy bunnies) (more by Ryan Muir)
The Heavy @ SXSW

After absolutely manhandling SXSW, with appearances at the Counter Records Showcase, the +1 House Party, and a still-buzzed-about Playboy Rock the Rabbit party, Noid outfit THE HEAVY are coming back to the states (and Canada) to plunder our major cities. This time, they come armed with an official U.S. release (Great Vengeance and Furious Fire, out April 8th) and their signature wolf howl, but in a perfect American accent. [PR}

What's up the the tracking link to the myspace page? It seems like the post is really an ad, and the record company is tracking clicks to myspace.com (which they can't do on that side since they don't own myspace.com). Very sneaky. Pay-to-play becomes pay-to-blog.

Don't be paranoid! I didn't notice that link when I copy and pasted the URL from a Heavy email into the post. Fixed. thanks!

Feel free to delete my posts. I work in media, and I am aware of all the shady things going on. I now spot them very easily, but sometimes things are actually benign.

They're label/publicists are known for doing shady shit. I wouldnt be suprised if they really were tracking everyone.

The concert listing omits the fact that they will be playing Monolith at Red Rocks (CO) in September
