Saw VH in Atlantic City a few weekends back -- Ed can barely move anymore and the kid is stiff too. Pay close attention to the piped-in second guitar parts ('Jamie's Cryin' in particular), bass lines and harmony vocals. If you can look past all that, it's a great chance to see David Lee reclaim his legacy.

Alex Van Halen, despite having transformed into an old black man, is fucking out of control these days. I saw them in Jersey on the 13th and he plays so fast that you'll think you're seeing a metal band.
They may be older, but it's still a hell of a lot of fun. If only Michael Anthony were along for the ride
